So I went in for the non-stress test today, but I couldn’t get the medicine to help me dilate. I was having too many contractions on my own, that if they gave me the medicine it could have hurt the baby. She’s doing great though, so the plan is to wait. If she doesn’t come before Monday, we’ll go in Monday night and get induced. I’m still only dilated to 2 cm and 50% effaced. She must be very comfortable in there.

I’m glad she’s doing well, even though I know you really want to hold your sweet baby girl. You have made her a comfy little home in there and she’s just content to stay in longer I guess. :p
Darn, I thought you might have gone already. 🙂 She must be all warm and loving it where she is. Maybe have some hot sauce or something?! Get her wanting to come out! 🙂 I pray for a safe delivery and can’t wait to see pictures!
Thanks, Karyn! I’ve tried spicy food but that didn’t work. I’ve been having plenty of contractions, they just aren’t doing a whole lot and don’t last for very long.
How do you feel about a possible induction?
I’m very nervous, but I’m not sure what else to do. I’ve been having contractions but they don’t seem to be doing a lot and they don’t last for very long. I’d love for her to decide to come on her own, but I don’t really see that happening. I’d hate to be two weeks over before deciding to induce, she’s not getting any smaller either. Garrett was 8lbs 1oz and I tore pretty bad with him. I’m just not sure what else to do.
