Hanging out with Aunt Brooke at Dr. Grace’s office.
Meeting Dr. Grace! Dr. Grace has been my doctor since I got mono the summer after I graduated from high school. I went to 5 other doctors and he took one look at me and knew exactly what it was! He also found my thyroid problem! He’s the best!
Meeting Great Great Grandma Corner. Garrett wasn’t very happy, he wanted to eat. Sorry Grandma.

We went up to Marion for the first time since Garrett was born, actually the first time since deer season. Garrett got to snuggle with Aunt Brooke alot, she hasn’t seen him since he was born.

Garrett had his first taste of formula last night. When we were at the doctor’s office for his Hep B shot, she said he still looked jaundice still and she wanted another blood test. Well, yesterday they called and said that his levels were still high so we are going to give him one bottle of formula a day for a week in hopes that it clears everything up. I was a little disappointed at first because I’ve heard all sorts of horror stories online about how supplementing with formula can mess up breastfeeding, but we have to do what’s best for Garrett. Well, he drank it right down and ate from me afterwards too. Plus the real bonus, he slept almost 5 hours!! Sleep has been hard to come by the past couple days so that was a real treat! I guess if we have to supplement, sleep is a nice plus. Hopefully the jaundice will be gone by the end of the week and he’ll be used to sleeping longer. Hopefully.
